Theatre and Street Arts Inspiration Day

Once an old tyre garage and backing on to the Bristol Beer Factory, the Brewery comprises a beautiful and intimate 90-seat auditorium with fixed raked seating, a lovely large and light studio space and a front of house area, which doubles up as a visitors’ centre for the Beer Factory and Mark’s Bread.

Inspiration Day Bristol is all about the city’s world-class theatre and performance arts scene with practical workshops and career skills in:

  • Puppetry

The Puppet Place present Instant Puppetry, a workshop that will help you put together your very own crazy puppet shows.

 

  • Circus Performance

Circomedia bring you a circus skills workshop with an insight into the life of a circus performer.

 

  • Theatrical Stage Management.

Bristol Old Vic Theatre Designer Liesel Corp presents an intriguing model making challenge...

  • Comedy & Improvisation

Instant Wit introduce a hectic session in spontaneous comedy and improvisation.

 

Workshop contributors include the world-renown Circomedia and the Puppet Place, home to the famous Green Ginger, Full Beam and Pickled Image puppeteers.

This will be an amazing chance to see a very different side to a career in theatre and performance with a glimpse behind the scenes and access to some of the best practitioners in the country.

Inspiration Day Bristol will take place at the Brewery Theatre, part of the exciting Tobacco Factory cultural quarter huddled together on the south side of Bristol Harbour.
