Two men in an editing suite

Screening of 'Going Nowhere' by Robert S J Lucas

Going Nowhere

‘Where are you going when you’re between where you’ve been and where you’re going? Nowhere’

Sandra and Martin dislike each other. In fact it would be better to say that Sandra and Martin despise each other.  Unfortunately for them, they have to work together. Closely.

With an array of unhelpful characters and clients who exacerbate every situation we bare witness to emerging alcoholism, a chronic case of closet and a depressingly dead-end attitude with two people barely hitting 30.

Always being stuck between where they have been and where they are going, Martin and Sandra constantly feel like they are going nowhere. Fast.

Episode One - TRAFFIC

On their way to a client at their offices, Sandra and Martin find themselves stuck in traffic, in a taxi, in the rain.

Episode Two - LATE

Martin and Sandra sit waiting for Mr Vanneirkerk, a client who it seems has requested the services of their company, and is running late. They are in his failing hotel, in it’s empty restaurant.
